Located in the heart of Wilmslow town centre, Potyo welcomes you to experience a traditional coastal Indian feast. Coastal Indian cuisine is known for its distinctive flavours and aromas that make one feel truly alive, and at Potyo, we excel at staying true to culinary tradition and culture which makes us an authentic Indian restaurant in Wilmslow.

Our menu primarily focuses on the Malabar or the West Coast of India and to partake in the spectrum of flavours, we offer a unique experience by providing a variety of small sharing plates and curry bowls to help guide you through this dining experience whilst embracing local coastal cuisine.

For those looking for a private dining affair we have designed two dining rooms where we can offer tailored menu’s in a more intimate setting.

Best Indian restaurant meal experience in UK Had an amazing meal with my family recently. The flavours and dishes are so unique and well balanced that it has to be one of the best restaurant meals I have ever had in UK. Had the pleasure to meet the owners Jason and Milena who helped us choose from the menu which made it so easier for us as we had not eaten any of the dishes on the menu before. You can tell that the ingredients are of high quality and the creaminess of the curries we had struck me the most. Cannot wait to dine in again.

Fantastic Food Brilliant menu compared to the normal high street Indian restaurants and dishes that you certainly don't find elsewhere.We have eaten here around 20 times and have always had a fabulous meal. Everything just perfect I discovered this restaurant only last week through the recommendation of a friend. What a find! Lovely, comfortable, everything elegantly presented, and the food delicious. I had Boatman’s Fish Curry which had a beautiful, creamy sauce, giving wonderful flavours, and the fish pieces melting in the mouth. The service was excellent; the waiter making sure that everything was just right quietly and unobtrusively. This is definitely a place to keep in mind as a special treat.

A wonderful dining experience We ordered all our favourite Goan food: Prawn curry, Cafreal and Vindaloo. For desert we had Bebinka and Seradurra. The flavours were spot on! We grew up in Goa and loved how much Potyo took us back there through their delicious food, as well as the interior decor. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Sublime Absolutely sensational. Everything was flawless - I couldn’t fault a thing. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by an extremely amiable chap named Roy (apologies if I have not spelt that correctly!). The food is of the highest quality; authentic with some slight twists to appease the British diner. The nautical decor and concept of this place is not one I have experienced before in an Indian restaurant in this country, but it really works. I could consume the character limit of this post with a plethora of hyperbolic adjectives and banal cliches, but the greatest compliment I can pay the team at Potyo is to say that this genuinely is one of the very best Indian dining experiences I have ever had, and I’ve had a few. Sublime.

For someone who comes from Goa I can vouch for the authenticity of the flavours at Potyo ( that’s what they used to call me in High School 😂) Started with the sharing platter for 2, a good combination of flavours with my personal favourite being the chicken wings. For main we had the Chicken Cafrael which was lit AF and reminded me of Home, on point with the juicy meat, the spice and everything nice. Also the Calicut Prawns Biryani and Pork Vindaloo which was top notch. Desserts we tried the serradurra and Bebinca and have to say I was really impressed. Would definitely be visiting again.
